Darmentzündungen – sind Schwermetalle verantwortlich?

Eleven biopsy of chronic inflammatory intestinal
mucosa tissue obtained during a colonoscopy
(Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, inflamed colon
cancer) was determined by ICP-MS, nine biopsates
of patients with irritable bowel and ten biopsates
from healthy mucosa tissue were obtained and the
amount of metals compared with the macroscopic
and histologically visible inflammatory mucosa
changes.
